My name is Becky Hofer and I’d like welcome you to Mid Valley Charter. It’s not what we do, it’s WHY we do it. Simply put, we love to help kids succeed. Your child has passions, interests, gifts and struggles. At Mid Valley, we find what makes our students ‘tick’ and skillfully weave together a personalized plan to spark learning, creativity, and growth.

As a parent, you can expect outstanding support and guidance as you navigate your way into homeschooling. Each child and family has a unique set of goals and we cannot wait to meet your child and begin the journey of becoming life-long learners!

Mid Valley Director

My name is Cheryl Jones and I am a graduate of Fresno State.  I first began teaching in Corcoran, CA., where I taught Kindergarten and Preschool for 10 years before moving to Hanford in 1980.  During the 20 years I worked for Hanford Elementary, I primarily taught Kindergarten but I also taught second, third, fourth and sixth grades. I was also an administrator for two years.
I retired from Hanford Elementary in 2006 and was soon hired at Kit Carson UESD to teach at Mid Valley Charter.  My years at Mid Valley have been the most memorable.  I love working with the students and families one on one.  We are able to individualize instruction and can work closely with parents to enrich student learning.
