ABOUT MID VALLEY CHARTER
Greetings Mid Valley Families! I am extremely grateful to become a part of the Mid Valley Charter Family as of this 2025-2026 school year. I have served as a K.C.O.E New Teacher Induction Mentor, and I am CA MTSS Teacher Certified.
My teaching experience involves: 3 years of 6th Grade, 1.5 years of prior Independent Study (K-8th Grades) teaching, as well as 3.5 years of 3rd Grade teaching at Kit Carson Elementary School. I have also worked with Kindergarten classrooms with induction mentoring throughout the 2024-2025 school year. I have absolutely loved working for KCUESD these past few years, and am excited to bring my experience and passion to Mid Valley Charter.
Teaching and working as a role model with adolescent learners is my passion. I have dedicated my career in teaching for the past 8 years. I have two sons in my family, one in 2nd grade and one in TK. We enjoy being active, learning, and outdoor recreation/travel.

Hello! I am Mrs. Fuller. It is very exciting to be working at Mid Valley Charter on the campus I went to school at many years ago. I have been a teacher since 2007 and love working with my students! My husband and I have three very active little kids who keep us very busy. When I'm not at work, I am running kids to and from school and activities. In my spare time I enjoy traveling, baking, spending time on the river with family, and all things organizational! I am ready for another successful year of teaching.

My name is Cheryl Jones and I am a graduate of Fresno State. I first began teaching in Corcoran, CA., where I taught Kindergarten and Preschool for 10 years before moving to Hanford in 1980. During the 20 years I worked for Hanford Elementary, I primarily taught Kindergarten but I also taught second, third, fourth and sixth grades. I was also an administrator for two years.
I retired from Hanford Elementary in 2006 and was soon hired at Kit Carson UESD to teach at Mid Valley Charter. My years at Mid Valley have been the most memorable. I love working with the students and families one on one. We are able to individualize instruction and can work closely with parents to enrich student learning.

Chandalin Champlin, Executive Director of Mid Valley Charter
With 36 years of dedicated service in education, I have had the privilege of wearing many hats throughout my career. I spent 19 years as an educator at Kit Carson, a community deeply rooted in my family's history since the 1920s. My journey continued with four years as the School Climate Transformation Coordinator, where I helped foster a positive school environment. I then served as Dean of Students at Tulare Union High School for 3 1/2 years, guiding students toward academic and personal success. I have been with the Kings County Office of Education for four years, working as a Continuous Improvement Coordinator, Fieldwork Supervisor, Mentor, and Consultant. I am proud to live on the same farm in Kit Carson Community where my husband and his family have lived and farmed for generations and where I raised two wonderful children who are now grown and contributing to our community.
